The successful developer and N Magazine publisher is publicly flexing his muscle more than ever. Worried about the city’s direction, he’s working to bridge the divide between City Hall and those in the business community. Worried about the very survival of American democracy in an age of unprecedented partisanship, there he is, launching initiatives aimed at reducing tensions in the U.S. Senate as chairman of the board at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute.

The Revolution Hotel redefines the boundaries of where urbanites meet, stay, eat, work and socialize. This adaptive reuse project met the challenge of converting a historic YWCA dormitory into a modern boutique hotel that also hosts a restaurant, café, community co-working space and street level, walk-up coffee window.

Bruce A. Percelay has been presented with the 2020 Jack Connors, Jr. Award for Excellence in Philanthropy. The award, named in honor of Mass General Brigham Chair Emeritus Jack Connors, is given each year to two honorees for their contributions to Mass General Brigham hospitals.

The Revolution Hotel has been awarded the 2020 Preservation Award by the Boston Preservation Alliance.

Bruce Percelay is chairman and founder of the Mount Vernon Co., a real estate investment firm considered among the leading apartment landlords in Massachusetts. Several Mount Vernon Company hotels received the Readers' Choice Award for Top Hotels from Condé Nast Travelers. Readers rate their top hotels in New England, outside of Boston. 21 Broad and 76 Main in Nantucket, MA and Whitehall in Camden, ME make the list.
